The castle was fully decorated in a very upscale way and nicely iluminated. But the biggest highlight was the Christmas celebration, at the castle. The swimming pool is amazing, with a trampoline and a bar next to it. Some rooms needed some fixings here and there, but nothing serious. The rooms are very nicely decorated, with high ceilings (no ac in some, but with ceiling fans). On top of these buildings, there is an incredible capilla. There is also a room in a Molino (segregated from everybody), which looks great.

The colonial buildings (3 bungalows) are near the activities and is where we stayed (4 rooms in one bungalow, all for us, plus 2 rooms in the bungalow next door). The castle has hotel rooms, but is far from where all activities and meals are. The estancia is gorgeous, with the castle as the main building. All meals were included (lunch, tea and dinner/celebration at the castle on day 1 and breakfast, lunch and tea on day 2) and all activities (outdoor swimming pool, horse and sulky riding, etc.). The Christmas package included a check in at 10am on Dec 24th and a check out at 4pm on Dec 25th, with the ability to stay until 6pm. Instead of focusing on his business, Francisco was all along worried about my mum. We had a family issue with my mum and we were considering cancelling or postponing. Francisco, our reservation coordinator, was fantastic. Simply put, the experience was way above our expectations, not only because the estancia is gorgeous, but mostly because of the amazing service we received. My family and me (16 of us) decided to spend Christmas at La Candelaria (2 days, one night).
